Happy Birthday, Yellowstone!
On March 1, 1872, President Ulysses S. Grant signed the bill establishing Yellowstone National Park into law. Yellowstone thus became the first national park in the world.
Home to half of the world's geothermal features and two-thirds of the world's geysers, Yellowstone is a must-see on any traveler's bucket list. It is also the subject of the next edition of 101 Travel Bits - look for it soon!
